The Location
The Oykel Bridge is located on the A837 in the North Highlands of Scotland. Travelling from the south on the A9, take the A836 road sign posted to Bonar Bridge and Lairg. Follow signs to Lairg and just north of Bonar Bridge turn left on to the A837 sign posted Falls of Shin and Ullapool.The Oykel Bridge is about 20 minutes down this road, just past Rosehall.
Travelling from the North (A9) take the A839 sign posted to Lairg and then follow signs for Ullapool and the A837.
From Ullapool take the A835 north until you reach the junction of the A837. Turn right and keep on this road until you reach the Hotel.
