Golf
There are several championship golf courses in the area, including Royal Dornoch Golf Club,Brora Golf Club, Royal Dornoch Struie Golf Course, and the Bonar Bridge/Ardgay Golf Club.
Leisure and shopping
The City of Inverness is only an hour away and has an excellent range of leisure and shopping outlets, including the Eden Court Theatre, Aquadome and two shopping centres and the Victorian Market.
Visitor Attractions
The Falls of Shin Visitor Centre and restaurant is about 20 minutes drive away and is famous for the salmon leap and as the Harrods of the North.Also the Ferrycroft Countryside Centre in Lairg, where there is plenty of advice on local walks from the countryside ranger service. Starting from the centre is the Ord Archaeology Trail, over the Ord Hill, seeing Bronze Age house-sites, Neolithic cairns, a burnt mound and medieval cultivation.
The fairytale Dunrobin Castle is located in Golspie as is the Big Burn walk where you can see a stunning waterfall.
